T9 input method inventor Cliff Kushler has designed a new input method called Swype.

Swype provides a faster and easier way to input text on any screen. With one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard, the patented technology enables users to input words faster and easier than other data input methods—at over 50 words per minute. The application is designed to work across a variety of devices such as phones, tablets, game consoles, kiosks, televisions, virtual screens and more.

The Mintpad has all the markings of a Yanko: it is tiny and beautiful and more wishful than practical. Essentially, the Mintpad is a tiny Post-It note sized Wacom with built-in WiFi that will let you send full color notes to any other Mintpad owners… all five of them.

It’s essentially a dedicated platform for the Nintendo DS’s Pictochat, which is a good idea… just don’t expect to get a lot of use out of that primary function. Luckily, the MintPad does more than just that: it’s also a portable media player, camera and web browser, with 4GB of internal memory.

It all adds up to a rather unique little DAP that sets itself apart from the competition with a single unique function that will only go unappreciated because the community it depends upon will likely not be there. It’s on sale now in Korea for $156.

Apple’s announced online component of iWork office software. But that is not the online version of the iWork. It merely allows users to share files at iWork.com site.

Apple called that “A great start”. This allows users to believe that Apple is hard working indeed in a more advanced version of the network.
iWork.com components can work in all major browsers, including Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer.
